As a matter of policy, we do not collect any personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us. These companies may use your personal information to help GIIS communicate with you from GIIS. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.

  • We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required by law.
  • We transfer information about you if GIIS is acquired by or merged with another company.
We will make a sincere effort to respond in a timely manner to your requests to correct inaccuracies in your personal information. To correct inaccuracies in your personal information please return the message containing the inaccuracies to the sender with details of the correction requested.

Cookies, and other technologies
We collect information from visits to our sites to help us provide better customer service. For example, we keep track of the domains or IP from which people visit and we also measure visitor activity on GIIS web sites, but we do so in ways that keep the information anonymous. GIIS or its affiliates or vendors may use this data to analyze trends and statistics and to help us provide better customer service. Information Collected from Interactive Forums
On some of our web pages we offer interactive forums that let you voluntarily submit personal information (such as your e-mail address, name, or organization). This occurs when you are registering for online counselling, various tests, quizzes, seminars, workshops, or training sessions offered by GIIS, downloading admission forms from GIIS. In those cases, all submitted information is used only for the purposes for which it is intended and is not made available to any third party.

Mailers
GIIS sends direct mailers to you at the address given by you. We respect your privacy and in the event that you choose to not receive such mailers, we will take all steps to remove you from the list.

Information from E-mail You Send to Us
If you decide to send us an electronic mail message (e-mail), the message will usually contain your return e-mail address. If you include personally-identifying information in your e-mail because you want us to address issues specific to your situation, we may use that information in responding to your request. Also, e-mail is not necessarily secure against interception. Please send only information necessary to help us process your request.

AntiSpam policy
GIIS recognizes the receipt, transmission or distribution of spam emails (unsolicited bulk emails) as a major concern and has taken reasonable measures, to minimize the transmission and effect of spam emails in its computing environment. All emails received by GIIS, are subject to spam check. Any email identified as spam will be rejected with sufficient information to the Sender for taking necessary action. With this measure, along with other technical spam reduction measures, GIIS hopes to minimize the effect of spam emails. GIIS reserves the right to reject and/or report any suspicious spam emails, to the authorities concerned, for necessary action, from time to time.

Our policy discloses the privacy practices for the GIIS website. But GIIS provides links to other websites. When you leave the GIIS website, you will be going to sites that are beyond our control. These other sites may send their own cookies to users, collect data, or solicit personal information. The privacy policies and procedures described here for GIIS do not apply to any external links. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any site you link to from ours, especially if you share any personal information.
